      Members and Contractors  There have been a few cases already of the police showing up and shutting projects down The interpretation of the governor's emergency executive order is that all construction sites and Building Trades are exempt from shutdown. Northwest Indiana and State Building Trades got some clarification in writing.  As I have attached below.

      Statement from DWD: CARES Act 04-02-2020 To date, no states have begun issuing the additional $600 unemployment insurance benefits under the CARES Act, as states await further instructions from the U.S. Department of Labor. In Indiana, the benefit will be retroactive to March 29, 2020 for qualifying Hoosiers impacted by COVID-19.

      COVID 19 UPDATES  04-02-2020 2020 Illinois Plumbing License Renewal and CE Deadline Extended Emergency Rules have been adopted and Governor Pritzker has issued an Executive Order extending the deadline for renewal of Illinois plumbers’ licenses and continuing education requirements until August 28th. This applies to plumbers, apprentices, and inspectors.
