    Members and Contractors

    • There have been a few cases already of the police showing up and shutting projects down
    • The interpretation of the governor's emergency executive order is that all construction sites and Building Trades are exempt from shutdown.
    • Northwest Indiana and State Building Trades got some clarification in writing.  As I have attached below.
    • In conclusion, the affiliated Local Unions of the Indiana State Building and Construction Trades Council, their members and their contractors can continue working on construction projects in Indiana during the duration of the stay-at-home order as promulgated in EO 20-08. Any interruption of this essential construction work, by local law enforcement, would represent an improper interpretation of the Executive Order and an illegal interference with the business relationships of the various participants.
